Version 1.21 of the Avonni Dynamic Components App is now live in both Sandbox and Production.

New features

Avonni Flow Component

The Avonni Flow Component lets you run Salesforce Screen Flows directly inside your Dynamic Components — no redirects or page changes needed.

With this component, you can:

• Run flows inline within your Lightning pages
• Pass input variables to prefill data or customize behavior
• Capture output variables to update your component or trigger additional actions
• Define what happens next, such as navigating to a different view or showing a confirmation

This is useful when you want to guide users through multi-step processes — submitting a request, updating records, onboarding — all within a single interface. It keeps the experience focused and reduces context-switching.

Debug Details Panel

The new Debug Details Panel — available in preview mode — helps you test your Dynamic Components more efficiently, right from the editor.

• Experiment with input and output variables directly in the configuration panel
• Simulate different data values to see how your component responds in real-time
• No need to activate or publish the component to Salesforce for testing

Handy during development or troubleshooting — you can validate logic, fine-tune interactions, and catch issues early without leaving the design environment.

Bug fixes

• Formula Field Query Sync Issue: Resolved an issue where queries involving formula fields would return misaligned or stale data. Queries now evaluate formulas in real-time with accuracy.
• Metric Component Data Load: Fixed a bug that prevented the Metric Component from loading data correctly on initial page render. It now loads on first visit — no more refresh tricks needed.

We also updated the docs to cover these new capabilities:

• Added Avonni Flow Component documentation page for detailed setup and usage.
• Added Debug Panel documentation page to guide you through interactive testing workflows.
• A new tutorial is now available in the Avonni Experience Cloud Components section, showing you how to display Salesforce CMS files in a dynamic data table within Experience Cloud.
