What's New

What’s New in Avonni Components - June 2025

This release brings a suite of powerful new features, meaningful improvements, and key documentation updates

We’re excited to announce the release of Version 1.21 of the Avonni Dynamic Components App, now live in both Sandbox and Production environments!

New Features

🔁 Avonni Flow Component

The Avonni Flow Component enables you to integrate Salesforce Screen Flows directly into your Dynamic Components — no redirects or page changes are needed.

With this new feature, you can:

  • Run flows inline within your Lightning pages
  • Pass input variables to prefill data or customize behavior
  • Capture output variables to update your component or trigger additional actions
  • Define what happens next, such as navigating to a different view or showing a confirmation

This is especially useful when you want to guide users through multi-step processes, like submitting a request, updating records, or onboarding, all within a single, unified interface. It keeps the experience smooth and focused, reducing context-switching and making the interaction feel native and fast.

🐞 Debug Details Panel

The new Debug Details Panel — available in preview mode — helps you test your Dynamic Components more efficiently, right from the editor.

  • Experiment with input and output variables directly in the configuration panel
  • Simulate different data values to see how your component responds in real-time.
  • No need to activate or publish the component to Salesforce for testing.

This feature is helpful during development or troubleshooting, allowing you to quickly validate logic, fine-tune interactions, and catch issues early — all without leaving the design environment.

🛠️ Bug Fixes

  • Formula Field Query Sync Issue: Resolved an issue where queries involving formula fields would return misaligned or stale data. Queries now evaluate formulas in real-time with accuracy.
  • Metric Component Data Load: Fixed a bug that prevented the Metric Component from loading data correctly on initial page render. It now loads seamlessly — no more refresh tricks needed!
